Virtual Density's Disaster Recovery Assessment is a comprehensive review of the critical areas of your business, and its ability to sustain a disaster. It provides you with insight to react appropriately in the face of disaster, in a proactive way.
This approach is accomplished in 4 standard stages:
- Stage 1 - Discovery & Information Gathering
- Stage 2 - Business & Dependency Analysis
- Stage 3 - Report Compilation
- Stage 4 - Presentation of Deliverables
This approach will require approximately 2-3 weeks, depending on the size and complexity of your organization. As part of the process, the Virtual Density assessment team will compile an inventory of Critical Systems, Secondary Systems, and Peripheral Systems, all of which can mean significant business loss in the event of a disaster. As a result, you will now see the Business Priority of each area.
Our Assessment focuses on areas that can directly or indirectly affect your business in the event of a disaster. These areas include:
- Personnel and Support Issues
- Business Systems/Applications
- Infrastructure Components
- Power and Environmentals
- Workplace User Systems/Small Systems
As a result of this assessment, you will be provided a written report which may containing the following:
- An Inventory of Critical Systems
- Dependency Analysis
- Current State of Risks
- Recommendations and Action Plan
The results will be a part of your ongoing proactive DR efforts, and will form the foundation for planning and budgeting your future needs. With a Disaster Recovery Assessment from Virtual Density, you'll have the assurance and certainty that you have completed proper due diligence in protecting your organization. And you'll have an action plan that meets your needs should the worst ever happen. Remember, it's only a disaster if you don't recover.
