According to ehackingnews.com clicking on any of the links included in the original email (but redacted here for your safety) would bring you to a malicious website.

Just in time for the Christmas!  It's another phishing scam!  I found this, right where it should be, in my junk Email folder this morning.

If you get this email, delete it.  Under no circumstances should you trust a random email that announces you've been blocked.

Top 25 passwords – is yours on the list?

Passwords are the key to our world.

When I think about all the places I use a combination of numbers and letters to identify myself it's astounding. We all have passwords for things from ATM cards to alarm panels to email to Amazon and Shutterfly.  It's hard to remember them -  I do have a cheat sheet that I can refer to in case of emergency - but never, ever, ever do ever I use passwords that are plain text or sequential numbers and neither should you.

Vacationing in the Cloud

 

It's coming up on vacation time for me.  It's my favorite time of the summer.  Each year, my entire family: my parents, my brothers and their families, and me and my mini-clan all head "down the shore" for a week.  It's a week of sand between my toes, tennis racquet in my hand and the smell of sunblock and fresh cut, Thrashers' fries in my nose.
