Facebook Phishing Scam

Just in time for the Christmas!  It's another phishing scam!  I found this, right where it should be, in my junk Email folder this morning.

If you get this email, delete it.  Under no circumstances should you trust a random email that announces you've been blocked.  And, never, ever, should you ever click on a link in an email that you weren't expecting.   If you're worried that your Facebook account might have been compromised open a new browser window and go to Facebook directly and log in.  If Facebook has indeed temporarily blocked your account, you'll know soon enough.  But, clicking on that mysterious link?  That's guaranteed trouble.

If you have any questions about an email you've received and want to know if it's legit, call me 203.987.4566 or email me jenn@virtualdensity.com and I'll help you figure it out.

Here's the email I received - some identifying information has been removed.
